LUUKS story
Our story
Driven by our passion for shoes and the lack of special, unique niche brands in Amsterdam, we – Lucas Davids and Manousch van Putte – opened LUUKS in 2003. At the time, we introduced small, unknown labels such as Premiata, Fiorentini + Baker, N.D.C. and Golden Goose in the Netherlands.
Located near the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum, we attract customers who value style more than trends. Over the years, Belgian designers such as A.F. Vandevorst and Maison Martin Margiela and Dries van Noten also joined our collection, further strengthening LUUKS’ reputation as a progressive boutique with a timeless, artistic look.
“We’re a unique designer shoe boutique offering collections that can not be found elsewhere…”
Today, LUUKS is a destination for lovers of shoes and accessories from home and abroad. Our selection is carefully curated: handmade shoes from Italy by Officine Creative, Premiata, Sartore and Shoto, unique jewelry by Rosa Maria from Lebanon, upcycled fashion by Yekaterina Ivankova, the iconic scarves by Faliero Sarti and bags by Kassl Editions and Numero 10. Each item carries a traditional finish and timeless signature, which give our collection its recognizable and lasting character. At LUUKS you don’t buy fleeting fashion items, but pieces for life.
